  • Assist and manage Window system installations to include defining, documenting, enforcing, and monitoring system standards.
  • Configure and install various telecommunication and laptop devices and services (e.g., printers, VPN, QoS).
  • Coordinate software and system upgrades with various stakeholders.
  • Conduct regression testing of systems and perform system upgrades.
  • Assist with performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
  • Provide in person or online end-user training and support for Microsoft and Windows systems.
  • Manage various SharePoint sites.
  • Continually assess the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.
  • Review system error logs and user-reported errors and troubleshoot.
  • Create and maintain system backups.
  • Provide higher tier technical level support for end users.
  • Active security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain one).
  • Current CompTIA Security + Certification.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with Windows administration to include experience with Microsoft 365 / Azure management.
  • Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Experience with PowerShell.
  • Perform other duties within this scope as needed with potential to assist Research and Development (R&D) in their endeavors.
